Masterbuilt by Custom Shop craftsman Jason Smith, this Strat features a Surf Green finish that's been aged for a beyond-played-in look and feel. The areas where buckle rash and pick wear are normally found are worn completely through to the Alder body. The neck gets the Relic treatment as well, with a comfortable oval "C" shape coupled with a modern style 9.5" radius fingerboard. All of the traditional Strat sounds are here as well, with three Fender Custom Shop '60s Strat single-coils wired to a five-way switch for full-bodied neck pickup sounds, quacky "in-between" tones, and biting treble leads.
