This is a terrific mid '60s Strat Masterbuilt by one of Fender Custom Shop's newest and most exciting builders, Andy Hicks! This is called the Fat '64 Strat, thanks to its use of Josefina Handwound Fat '64 Stratocaster pickups. The guitar has a Journeyman Relic Target 3-Tone Sunburst finish over an alder body, paired with a quartersawn roasted maple neck and topped off in Brazilian rosewood! The fretboard is inlaid with mother of pearl dot inlays which go with the sunburst finish and dark brown board nicely. Finishing things off, the Strat has 1/2 Blender wiring, where the middle control is a master tone, and the secondary tone control is a blend knob to bring in the neck position on any pickup of the switch which wouldn't normally employ that pickup! Make this one of a kind Strat yours today!
