This is the long-awaited Fender Custom Shop John Frusciante Stratocaster - a Masterbuilt recreation of John Frusciante's iconic 1962 Stratocaster that he's used with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and his own solo music for over thirty years.
This is the very first signature instrument for Frusciante, ever. Paul Waller has recreated the look and feel of the instrument down to every nick, ding and wear pattern - especially its signature pick wear around the neck pickup area. The guitar features a flat lam rosewood fretboard, three custom-wound Josefina Campos '60s Strat pickups and the Illitch Hum-Canceling system built into the backplate for quieter operation - helpful for John when playing stadiums and arenas around the world.
