As a tonewood, rosewood is acclaimed for its clarity and resonance in the low- and top-end of the frequency spectrum. It's nonetheless warm and hardly lacking in the midrange. These sonic qualities are evident with this beautiful, Fender Custom Shop '60 Stratocaster that was master built by Greg Fessler. The rosewood neck has a comfortable "C" profile that allows for ample movement while not feeling too thin. The pickups here are hand-wound to the specs of vintage 1960 types. All said, it's simply a beautifully built guitar that captures all of the great qualities of a vintage Stratocaster with wonderful sonic-detail, and with a rosewood body that is hard not to gawk at!
