A work of art that you can plug into an amplifier? Count us in! This is a very unique Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt creation, a collaboration between builder Greg Fessler and artist Dave Newman. The guitar itself is a Strat relic emblazoned with art throughout the body, neck and fretboard with Dave Newmans Thunderbird art and logo on the top of the body. The art reminds us of both Native American designs as well as classic Americana imagery that both come together nicely on this guitar. It’s loaded with two Josefina handwound ’50s Strat pickups and built of an ash body with a 10/56 “V” maple neck for a great feel.
