You might not know his face or name, but you’ve definitely heard his guitar playing! This is the Fender Custom Shop Bob Bain “Son of a Gunn” Telecaster, an exact remake by masterbuilder Paul Waller of the professional session musicians modified Tele. Bob Bain played on sessions for Frank Sinatra to Quincy Jones, and on TV show themes such as “Peter Gunn” and “Mission Impossible”. The guitar has a 1.655” nut width with a great feeling soft “V” neck profile, vintage style frets with 7.25” radius, a black phenolic pickguard, and a Seymour Duncan ’59 in the neck position with a Bigsby B16 tailpiece to really dig in the vibrato on your spanky Tele licks!
