Just when we think we've done it all in terms of what can be done with a Strat...inspiration strikes again. This is a '60 Stratocaster built by Yuriy Shishkov with a relic Seafoam Green finish over a roasted mahogany body. Mahogany bodied Strats were actually made by Fender in the early '60s and are incredibly rare, so when given the opportunity to create a modern version, of course we said yes - so long as we could roast it! The roasted mahogany gives the guitar an increased midrange and overall "body" to the traditional Strat sound...it's great for being used as a lead instrument in a band context. Add in the mix of Custom Shop pickups, and this Strat will provide a ton of inspired playing.
