Hardtop Stratocaster Double-Humbucker Electric Guitar Three-Tone Sunburst Item Description
The Exclusive Hardtop Stratocaster guitar is the result of a collaboration between The Music Zoo and Fender Custom Shop.Featuring two Bare Knuckle Mule humbucker pickups, this guitar gives you tons of vintage-style humbucker tone. Unlike most Fenders, this guitar has been built without a pickguard, hence the name Hardtop. All electronics are rear-loaded through the instrument's back. This Hardtop example, finished in a gorgeous Three-Tone Sunburst, has independent Volume controls and a master Tone control. A heavy-duty three-way toggle switch is used as the pickup selector. The Hardtop's body is lightweight Ash, and the one-piece Maple neck has a rounded "V" profile and a Maple fretboard. The minimalistic aesthetic continues with the headstock's bare-bones "Fender" decal. When it comes down to actually playing the Hardtop, you'll hear how using hand-selected quality woods along with the right components and craftsmanship truly make a difference. The guitar resonates effortlessly unplugged while responding with rich overtones and nuances when plugged in.
