The Story

NoNeck Stratocaster NOS Frost Red with Roasted Neck

This NoNeck comes in a great looking NOS Red Frost finish and paired with a roasted quartersawn maple neck. The roasting process adds stability to the already super-strong '50s chunky-profiled neck - you can be assured that this neck will not need many adjustments across different climates. The NoNeck Strat is one of the most comfortable playing guitars we have here at the Zoo. The name "NoNeck" may seem like a bit of a misnomer, but the "No" in "NoNeck" comes from the original '51 Nocaster, which had a fat, comfortable neck. But it's not just the neck shape that makes these guitars special: We have rolled some of our favorite guitar specs into the NoNeck as well. A flatter-than-vintage 9.5" radius fingerboard and big 6105 medium jumbo frets make bends and fast single-note lines easy. The pickups are Custom Shop '60 Strat single-coils, but with a twist in the middle pickup: it's reverse wound, flipping the polarity so when the 5-way pickup selector is in one of the "in-between" positions the usual pickup hum is gone. Absolutely essential if you crank it up and play with overdrive!

Includes: Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity, Case Candy and Paperwork
