This is a fantastic one of a kind Stratocaster built by John Cruz for the 2018 Fender Custom Shop Roadshow. The guitar has an alder body with a Brandywine Metallic finish. Imagine if Candy Apple Red was a bit darker, and with some added sparkle in there. The neck is an amazing piece of roasted flame quartersawn maple for the neck, an African blackwood fretboard with a flat 10" radius and big 6100 frets. If not the most notable feature, the guitar has a reverse headstock to give the bass strings a bit more tension and slinkiness to the treble strings, it's subtle but definitely makes a difference! The pickups are Mojotone Two-Face single-coils with a volume, tone, and blender controls - a feature often seen on Cruz-built guitars. The Two-Face pickups are loaded with ceramic magnets and adjustable pole pieces for the bass strings, with Alnico magnets on the treble for a tone that will give you a tight low-end combined with the traditional chime.
