This is the Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom 1950 Double Esquire. This is a recreation of the very rare dual-pickup Esquire made by Leo Fender before the official Telecaster changed the world in 1951. The recreation Vintage Custom includes both modern and vintage appointments such as a flash coat NOS lacquer finish, compound 7.25-9.5" radius which was actually found on vintage examples, a blender pot in place of the tone control, and hand-wound '50-'51 Blackguard pickups offering incredibly fat and juicy Fender tone.
