Modeled after the roadworn 1960 Stratocaster that Mike has been playing on the road with Pearl Jam for years, this is a guitar with a Nitro Road Worn lacquer finish over an alder body that replicates all the wear and feel of the original it's modeled after. The neck is a comfortable slim "C" shape with a slab rosewood fretboard carved to a 9.5" radius with Jescar medium vintage size frets. The pickups are custom-wound to replicate the sounds of Mikes original vintage single-coil pickups, and the hardware is a vintage synchronized tremolo with a cold-rolled steel block and vintage-style tuners as well.
