This is the one you want, the vintage Stratocaster that has remained mostly unchanged over the years with the exception of the one spec we mostly wish vintage guitars had: larger frets. Here is a 1961 Stratocaster which remains original with the exception of slick playing jumbo frets and a replaced nut. We know that the guitar came from a single family, passed down from father to a daughter who spent her musical career playing the guitar and giving it the authentic wear patterns we see on it today! The bottom body side latch of the case is missing, however the middle latch and neck side still close and protect the guitar, and the original trem arm is included as well! The neck has an excellent feeling slim "C" neck shape, which combined with the jumbo frets makes this a great lead player! There is a ton of mojo on this one, where you can see the exact spots of players wear on the body, and the lacquer finish of the neck has been dulled away to a smooth oil-like feel.
