Here’s a vintage ‘60s Tele with tons of vibe! This is a 1965 Tele which has been refinished in a natural lacquer to showcase the wood grain of the body. The neck and body look to be an original match to one another – and the neck, neck finish, bridge, bridge pickup, and one of the pots are all original. The neck pickup appears to be a later-era vintage Tele pickup. The guitar has a swapped switch, knobs, pot, pickguard, and strap buttons. At one point in time, a non-professional humbucker route was made under the neck pickup, a common modification throughout the 70s. The frets are in great condition, and this Tele plays and sounds incredible. It certainly looks like a guitar that can tell a cool story or two! Includes a non-original Fender hardshell case.
