This is the Furch Grand Nylon GCN 4-CR Nylon String guitar. Furch guitars are a boutique acoustic company based out of the Czech Republic and used by players such as Al di Meola and Suzanne Vega.
Construction of the GNC 4-CR is an AAA-grade Western Red Cedar top paired with AA-grade Indian Rosewood for the back and sides, a tried and true combination for nylon-string articulation and warmth. Cosmetics include faux tortoise binding with black and white purfling, an abalone double-ring rosette and pearl dot inlays. Rounding out the construction there is the Furch CNR System within the neck; high precision, dual-action truss rod maintains neck stability and allows for fine adjustment of the neck relief, bilaterally. The truss rod is housed in a highly rigid carbon casing which enables a very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and enduring optimal setup. A classical nylon string with a high-quality truss rod design? Big yes!
