This beauty is a lightly used master-crafted Gibson Custom Acoustic 1942 J-45 reissue. One of the most valuable and sought after acoustic guitars in the vintage world, this guitar is a reissue of the aforementioned wartime classic. This modern example is loaded with exacting details and top shelf tonewoods, including the Adirondack (Red) spruce top and mahogany back and sides - both torrefied (aged) for maximum tonal depth. Other features include a mahogany neck with a profile fitting the exact measurements of the original 1942 models, hide glue construction, era correct Adirondack X-bracing, a hand rubbed finish, and a fire-stripe pickguard. This guitar is in very good playing condition. There is a small dent and scratch on the back of the neck, on the bass side of the 11th fret. The original case and original saddle are included, however no certificate of authenticity.
Includes: Original Hardshell Case, Original Saddle
