A spin-off from the usual three finishes offered in our Music Zoo Exclusive '56 Les Paul Seniors: this one has a more of a modern Tobacco Burst finish than Vintage Sunburst, and it has VOS treated Grover tuners as opposed to the white button tuners on the standard run.
We wanted to create a single-pickup guitar that straddles the line between a Junior and a Standard model. The Senior features a bound and carved top just like a Standard would, however we left the guitar with a mahogany top instead of maple - which also shaves some weight off!
The Senior features a chunky profile to the mahogany neck with dot inlays on the rosewood board, a single P-90 pickup with a Junior-style volume and control layout. They're available in classic Junior colors: Vintage Sunburst, TV Yellow and Aniline Dye Cherry! It's instantly familiar but dressed up enough that it's unlike any other Les Paul you own?
