One of the greatest archtop designs of all time, this is a Gibson Custom Shop reissue of the 1957 L-5 CES guitar with an Vintage Sunburst finish over the arched spruce top and flame maple body. The guitar features an ebony fretboard with multi-ply purfling to match the body binding, a tortoise shell pickguard and a pair of gold covered '57 Classic pickups. The L-5 CES is not a model that the Custom Shop makes many of these days, so it is fantastic to have one available for players after that classic Gibson archtop tone.
