This early Gibson R8 1958 Les Paul Reissue is a treat! Finished in Lemonburst with a monster top, this R8 has the slightly thinner neck similar to a 59, unlike the later R8s which became quite chunky. These late '90s examples are also becoming increasingly more rare. Features include the mahogany body with maple cap, mahogany neck with trapezoid inlaid rosewood fingerboard, '57 Classic humbuckers, and vintage style hardware including the ABR-1, and Kluson tuners, which are replacements. The guitar also has Dunlop strap locks installed. Overall it's in excellent condition for it's age with only some light wear, and it includes the original case.
