This is a new 2017 Gibson Custom Shop '59 with a Slow Ice Tea Fade heavily aged finish over a flame roasted maple top with a Carmelita top carve, solid mahogany body with all-hide glue construction, two E-Bucker humbucker pickups, and a great looking Brazilian rosewood fretboard, just like the original guitars had. The neck profile on this one is carved to the fantastic feel of the Pearly Gates Les Paul, and has an aging pattern modeled after the guitar found on page 83 of the Beauty of the Burst.
