A Music Zoo x Gibson Custom Shop classic is back! This is a left-handed 1959 Les Paul Roasted Reissue with a torrefied flame maple top. Torrefied wood, also known as "roasted" wood is a process of removing excess moisture from the wood, in this case flame maple - to increase resonance and stability throughout weather changes, a healthy decrease in physical weight and a tone that's more akin to a guitar that has aged over years to have characteristics more like our favorite vintage guitars.
The Dirty Lemon Fade on this one seems extra dirty from the darker torrefied maple underneath the finish. The flame top on this one is gorgeous. Lefties, don't sleep on this very special Les Paul you won't find anywhere else!
