You can almost hear angels sing as you open the case to this guitar. This is a 2001 Gibson Custom Shop '59 Les Paul in Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish, aged by Tom Murphy and built for the esteemed Yamano Music in Japan. This guitar has an excellent flame top with lots of thin, well defined flicker and vertical grain underneath, a dark rosewood fretboard, and two '57 Classic humbuckers to provide the tone. The aging is light and tasteful with lacquer checking and some patina added to the hardware. There is some very light fretwear around the first three frets, and aging original to how Murphy intended the guitar to look. This Les Paul has a replaced bridge pickup volume pot, and includes the original case, certificate of authenticity, Yamano paperwork, and an extra backplate signed by Tom Murphy.
Includes: Original Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity
