This is the 1963 Les Paul SG Custom...the last year in which the 'Les Paul' moniker was used on the SG-style of guitar, but also the first year of the Maestro vibrola tailpiece. As one thing ends, another one starts! This Custom Shop reissue is a piece of art with its Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aged Classic White finish and gold hardware with all of the Custom appointments: a split diamond headstock inlay and mother of pearl blocks. The tone is produced by two Custombucker Alnico 3 humbuckers all wired up with CTS pots and Black Beauty caps. If you want a world class SG, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one than this!
