This is the very special B.B. King 'Rumble in the Jungle' 1974 ES-355 - an ode to the Gibson which Blues legend B.B. King played onstage in Zaire in 1974 during a concert to promote the also legendary Heavyweight Championship boxing match betewen George Foreman and Muhammad Ali. There was a three-night music festival billed to hype up the match, in which B.B. appeared along with James Brown and Bill Withers.

This ES-355 is one of only 100 built by the Custom Shop and features a Murphy Lab Light Aged Walnut finish package over a laminate maple body, two T-Type Custombucker pickups wired to a 6-position mono Varitone switch and vintage taper pots. For hardware, Kluson Waffleback tuners and a Maestro tailpiece. Each Rumble in the Jungle guitar includes a special edition hardshell case and a unique case candy package that ties back to that historic festival performance, as well as the legendary Rumble in the Jungle fight itself!
