This is a lightly used (and originally sold by The Music Zoo) Gibson Custom Shop Brian Ray '62 SG Junior, a signature model for the longtime guitarist of Paul McCartney's touring band - and a legendary guitarist in his own right. The guitar has features that make sure it's an arena-ready instrument.A passive “induction coil” circuit, engaged with a tap of the push-push knob, hides under the pickgaurd to reduce RF interference and high-gain noise while preserving the tone of the powerful P-90 pickup. The clever convertible bridge design gives players the choice between a tune-o-matic ABR-1 or wrap-tail bridge and a Vibrola tremelo or stop bar tailpiece setup - all available in the time it takes to change strings. The body of the SG is even a bit thicker than normal, adding more low-end and midrange punch. The finish is a unique "White Fox" color, and the guitar is outfitted with a custom trapezoid inlay pattern and an ebony block tailpiece as was seen on some original 1962 SG models. This guitar is still in excellent condition with just some very light pick marks on the guard, no dents or dings!
