Citation Archtop Electric Guitar Honey Burst Item Description

The Citation is considered the top of the line of Gibson archtops. First built in the 1960s, the guitar represented the best of what Gibson's luthiers were capable of. They used the highest grade woods, the most ornate inlay work, 24-karat gold plating on hardware, and the finest craftsmanship in what amounted to a guitar with the most gorgeous aesthetic elegance and tone.

Then and now, the Citation has been built in very limited quantities and The Music Zoo is proud to have one of these rare birds. Basic features include a hand-carved solid Spruce top with solid, highly-figured Maple back and sides (all being the highest grade available), and a Maple neck and Ebony fretboard that's been inlaid with Abalone cloud motifs.

Includes: Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity, Paperwork
