This guitar is a very lightly used 2015 Gibson Custom Shop Collectors Choice #22, the Tommy Colletti 1959 Les Paul Custom. Tommy, who is the owner of The Music Zoo worked very closely with the Custom Shop to recreate his personal ’59 Custom, from every last nick and ding down to the very unique neck which has a very soft “V” profile to it that fits right in the palm of your hand. This CC #22 is in overall excellent condition with the original case and certificate of authenticity included - and it is serial number 031 from the run!

There’s a cool backstory to the original Les Paul from which this Collectors Choice came; it originally belonged to James Honeyman-Scott, guitarist and founding member of The Pretenders. Acquired by Tommy a number of years ago, the guitar retains all of its original characteristics and vibe from its time with Honeyman-Scott. We even have the case with The Pretenders logo stenciled onto it (the CC #22 does not come with such a case). It’s not often that people can play both the Collectors Choice and the original guitar it's modeled after, but we considered ourselves lucky!
