The double carved Maple top is mated to the Mahogany back with hide glue for a tone and sustain that has to be heard to be believed. The Mahogany neck is topped with a Rosewood fingerboard that features hand-rolled binding to get this guitar as close to original specifications as possible. All the small details from the Top Hat control knobs, to the authentically shaded plastics, to the classic Les Paul peghead veneer have been carefully recreated. The thin Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish is wet sanded then aged by hand for a perfectly played-in look and feel. Softer vintage edge profiles throughout, including the fingerboard edges and body binding edges give the guitar a comfortable feel. The level of detail in this instrument will have you swearing it's the real thing!
