This gorgeous Jazz box is a used and in excellent condition Gibson Custom Shop L-5 CES outfitted with a set of Alnico V staple pickups - offering a tone that's articulate with a bit more brightness than the usual P-90. They have a sharper attack than a P-90s roundness and midrange. The guitar has multi-ply body binding, a bound ebony fretboard and classy L-5 accoutrements such as the engraved tailpiece and pearl button tuners. There is a very slight finish crack on the top near the treble side waist - nothing down to the wood. The original case and certificate of authenticity are included.
