A very cool modern Gibson at a great price – this is a used Gibson Custom Shop Modern Doublecut Semi-Hollow, a double-cutaway designed 24-fret guitar with some new specs from Gibson that made it indeed a guitar for the modern player. A swept neck heel allows easy access to all 24 frets, with an extra long neck tenon to provide a ton of sustain and resonance. The back of the headstock features a new Apex carve for strength and durability, and the pickups are a pair of ’57 Classics to provide the tone. The semi-hollow body of the guitar makes it a great lightweight player, with added resonance thanks to the chambers. The original case is included with this Modern Doublecut.
