This is a Les Paul that we've been very excited to receive at The Music Zoo. This is the Gibson Custom Shop MotorSport 5. The model itself is a 1957 Standard Historic Reissue Les Paul that Music Zoo photographer and resident car aficionado Walter Bryant designed the the layout and color scheme for, inspired by a certain very famous race car livery. The top also features the track layout of the Laguna Seca Raceway above the Les Paul logo. The guitar itself is a wonderful player as much as it is an art piece, with its chunky '50s neck profile, hide glue neck construction, and excellent sounding pair of Custom Buckers for the pickups.
