This modern design would become known as the SG, and influence countless imitators for years to come. The Gibson Custom Shop has reissued the classic SG Standard in a gorgeous Faded Cherry VOS finish. Keeping the original specifications intact, this guitar features a solid Mahogany body, a solid Mahogany neck topped with a bound Rosewood fingerboard, and a classic Holly Head veneer headstock. Custom Bucker pickups deliver classic PAF-style humbucker tone, and the standard Gibson control layout lets you dial in your exact tone.
