Here's a very lightly used 2007 Gibson ES-137 in a Blueburst finish over the figured laminate maple body. There’s lacquer checking around the neck heel, beneath the surface of layers of finish. It looks cosmetic and is difficult to detect unless closely inspected. Because of its location and the thickness of the lacquer, it’s not possible to see any movement or flex. The guitar plays well and includes the original case!
