This is a very nice Gibson L-48 Archtop with a sunburst finish, built in 1957. The guitar has a non-cutaway body style with a spruce top and laminated maple back and sides along with mahogany neck. The guitar is in very good condition, both cosmetic and structurally, with lacquer checking throughout, however no major dings or any cracks. It does look like the 5th fret dot inlay might have been replaced at one point, it sticks out from the fretboard ever so slightly, and is not as yellowed as the others. It includes a non-original hardshell case with the back latch broken, however all the front latches work and protect the guitar as they should.
Includes: Non-Original Hardshell Case
