The Studio has long been favored by guitarists who want classic Les Paul looks and tone albeit a little bit stripped down. Ironically, the Les Paul Studio of today might be the model with the most features aside from the unbound ebony fretboard and satin finish. It features two 490R and 498T humbuckers with coil-tap, phase and pure-bypass switching, a contoured neck heel, compound fretboard radius and Grover Rotomatic tuners.
