This is a 1958 Les Paul Special in the quintessential TV Yellow finish over a slab mahogany body with a chunky mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. This Special has been professionally refretted with tall frets, great for modern playing that incorporates a lot more bending than guitarists were doing in ’58! It has a shimmed nut, and the tailpiece anchors appear filled and redrilled for intonation purposes. There is one screw missing from the back plate. The electronics and tuners are original to the guitar, even the raised toggle switch with rubber washer. Not to mention, this Les Paul plays like a dream! Includes a Gibson Protector hardshell case.
