This is the Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s model with a mahogany top and finished in TV Yellow, just like some of our favorite Junior and Special models from the 1950s Golden Era. The solid mahogany top on this one stands out within the Gibson Original collection. This is similar to some Les Paul Customs, many of which also feature all-mahogany bodies, and it results in a slightly warmer, more midrange-focused tone. Everything else you love about the Les Paul Standard 60s remains the same, including the mahogany neck with a 60s-style SlimTaper™ profile and a rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with a classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover® Rotomatic® "Kidney" tuners, and gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors. The 60s Burstbucker™ pickups are wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors.
