The Story

Limited Edition Memphis ES-335 Anchor Stud Bigsby VOS Antique Ebony

This is a used Gibson Memphis ES-335 "Anchor Stud Bigsby" that was limited to only 75 pieces. Back in Gibson's heyday, if you wanted to vibe on a Bigsby from the factory, Gibson would either install the familiar "Custom Made" plate, or simply "plug" the tailpiece anchor studs, and install the Bigsby. This 335 is a tribute to that process, and to match, this axe also boasts several '50s and '60s inspired features, such as the mouse ear cutaway horns, hide glue neck joint, double-ring Kluson tuners, and VOS nickel hardware. Other standard features include the 3 ply maple/poplar/maple body, "Rounded C" quartersawn mahogany neck with rolled binding, a rosewood fingerboard with small pearl block inlays, a pair of MHS Lead and Rhythm humbuckers with MTC Premiere electronics, an ABR-1 bridge with stoptail, and of course, the aluminum Bigsby B-7. This Anchor Stud 335 is in excellent condition with the original case and certificate of authenticity included!

Includes: Hardshell Case
