The Gibson Dove; a truly legendary acoustic guitar. Released in 1962 as Gibson’s second square shoulder flat top, it became an instant classic, with a slightly louder, brighter sound than the Gibson Hummingbird, due to a longer scale length (25.5”) and maple back and sides.
This beautiful limited edition Dove features great pieces of quilted maple for the back and sides - highlighted by a Heritage Cherry finish. Add in an under-saddle active pickup and classic appointments like a traditional Dove rosewood bridge, rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays, Grover tuners, and the legendary Dove pickguard, and you’ve got a real classic.
