From Gibson's square-shoulder dreadnought line of acoustic guitars comes the Songwriter Deluxe Studio. Combining craftsmanship from the 1930's and 1960's with modern innovation, the Songwriter Deluxe features 1930's-style binding and the classic square-shoulder shape which first rose to popularity in the 1960's. The Sitka Spruce top is mated to Rosewood back and sides for a gorgeous, full-ranging tone. The Songwriter Deluxe also comes equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element VTC active acoustic pickup system which consists of a low-profile undersaddle design and onboard preamp.
