The Gibson RD Artist is a cult classic - and this first-year 1977 model is a prime example! It's Moog electronics are completely original and functioning perfectly! On top of the classic Gibson tones that can be coaxed from the Series VI humbuckers, the special electronics also provide a bright mode, treble and bass boosts, compression, and expansion. The offset body and 25.5" scale set neck are solid maple, and an ebony fingerboard adds high end class. The guitar also sports gold hardware, a TP6 tailpiece with tune-o-matic bridge, and the unique headstock inlay. It is in excellent shape for it's age with only a few small dings and light wear.
