The Gibson RD Artist is a cult classic, and this 1978 built guitar is a prime example! It's Moog electronics are original and functioning perfectly! On top of the classic Gibson tones that can be coaxed from the Series VI humbuckers, the special electronics also provide a bright mode, treble and bass boosts, compression, and expansion. The offset body and 25.5" scale set neck are solid maple, and an ebony fingerboard adds high end class. The guitar also sports gold hardware, a TP6 tailpiece with tune-o-matic bridge, and the unique headstock inlay. It is in overall very good condition with some light markings around the body and buckle rash on the back. The figuring in the maple body is really nice on this one, and it includes the original hardshell case.
