Here we have a top of the line USA-made Guild D-55e in Antique Burst in overall excellent condition. Famously played by Tommy Smothers on the classic Smothers Brothers Show in the late '60s, the D-55 has been a Guild mainstay ever since. Specs include a sitka spruce top with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, an ebony fretboard, scalloped Adirondack spruce X-bracing and a dovetail neck joint. Signature D-55 cosmetics are onboard including the V-Block fretboard inlays and railroad track purfling on the sides of the fretboard. The guitar is built with the excellent LR Baggs Anthem electronics system right out of the factory and the original case is included!
