This awesome guitar is a one-off SL2H-V with a roasted mahogany body as well as roasted neck. The roasting process removes excess moisture content from the wood, giving it some properties of a vintage instrument as well as making it a bit lighter in weight as well as making it more resilient in weather changes. All in all - a great additional feature to an already superior instrument. First and foremost, the Natural Soloist has a mahogany body and neck with a gunstock oil finish applied right to the wood. This allows the instrument to breath more, giving lots of resonance to chords and riffs, and well as a fast playing and "woody" feel to the neck. The SL2H-V Natural Series has moved the knobs and toggle switch 1" closer to the bridge, giving you way more space for your picking hand to move around without bumping into any controls. It also has a non-recessed Floyd Rose tremolo, giving the guitar both a vintage look as well as giving the body more mass for sustain without having a chunk of wood taken out of the body. The guitar is loaded with an EVH low-friction volume pot, black control knobs and end pins, and a smaller-sized headstock with a vintage Jackson logo that is identical to the headstock found on the original Rhoads Concorde.
