The Story

Custom Shop Rhoads 1.5 Music Zoo Exclusive White Polka Dots 2013

Randy fans, rejoice! This is a used 2013 Jackson Custom Shop Rhoads 1.5 with a classic white polka dot finish, and vintage trem configuration. This short-wing, all maple guitar is the creation of Music Zoo owner Tommy Colletti and Jackson Masterbuilder Mike Shannon. Replicating the 25th Anniversary Rhoads identically is off-limits, so Tommy and Mike made a few subtle "Randy-style" changes to the model to create the 1.5. This one features a black finish with white polka dots, a vintage-style tremolo bridge, Seymour Duncan SH-6 and SH-1n pickups, distinctive "Bow Tie" fingerboard inlays, and a vintage logo on the headstock. The guitar has some very light oxidation to the hardware, mainly the pickup rings, and a very small ding on the side of the neck near where the fretboard binding meets the body - unless you looked at the body sideways you'd never notice it. It includes the original hardshell case and trem arm. This one is a must have for any Randy Rhoads fan, it plays wonderfully and just looks amazing.
