His PC1 Dinky was one of the original Jackson signature instruments, and it continues to be a standout piece in the world of music, thanks to its unique blend of exotic woods and a Jackson Sustainer/Driver. Updated in 2017 to meet Collen's evolving tastes and specifications, the USA Signature Phil Collen PC1 Satin Electric Guitar now features a caramelized mahogany body for a rich, warm tone. The bolt-on two-piece quartersawn caramelized flame maple neck is reinforced with graphite and coated with a hand-rubbed urethane gel on the back for a smooth, comfortable grip. The guitar's 12"-16" compound radius caramelized flame maple fingerboard is fitted with 24 jumbo frets for easy playability, and a convenient thumbwheel truss rod butt adjust for quick neck adjustments. The licensed Fender Stratocaster headstock adds a touch of classic rock aesthetics to this modern instrument. The USA Signature Phil Collen PC1 Satin Electric Guitar also features Collen's preferred H/S/S pickup configuration, with a DiMarzio DP-152-F bridge pickup, DiMarzio HS-2 DP116 middle pickup, and a PC1 Sustainer Driver neck pickup. This setup, combined with dome-style master volume, master tone, and intensity control knobs, as well as a five-way blade switch, allows for a wide range of tonal possibilities. The guitar is completed with a Floyd Rose Original tremolo and die-cast tuners, providing excellent tuning stability and the ability to create dramatic pitch effects.
