This 8 string Ivo features a fully-fanned scale length for a perfect balance of tight, thunderous lows with fast-playing in the treble range. The Roasted Quartersawn Hard Rock Maple neck is topped with a gorgeous Cocobolo fretboard and bolted to a Roasted Swamp Ash body. The Natural finish really lets the beautiful figuring of the Koa top shine through. The slanted Bare Knuckle pickups, two Painkillers in the neck and bridge positions and a Sinner single-coil in between, combine the humbuckers's huge output with the excellent high-end articulation of a single-coil. The ABM hardtail bridge couples with the locking Hipshot tuners provide superb tuning reliability. For experienced devotees and players new to the fanned fret game, this Ivo is a perfect fit.
