This is a Lowden F-23 model built with red cedar for the top and excellent looking Bastogne walnut for the back and sides. The F standard for ‘flatpicking’ as it’s a shape meant for those who need a guitar that has lots of projection and midrange – more so than the ‘O’ shape. The soundbox geometry is designed, and the bracing voiced to have a flat bias, favoring neither treble or bass.
