Here’s a great deal on an only very lightly used Lowden O-body acoustic guitar, with only light pick marks on it, and the original case included. This is a O (O for Original) body style 35 Series acoustic guitar with a natural finish, built of Madagascar rosewood for the rims with a red cedar top. The O was the first Lowden shape by George Lowden and has remained in their selection of styles since 1976. The ‘O’ has been likened to a ‘Jumbo’ style guitar. While at first glance this may seem accurate, the ‘O’, like all Lowdens, has a unique design and voice of its own. The soundbox geometry and the voicing of the bracing are both designed to increase treble response, which balances the natural bass-heavy tonal characteristics of such large-bodied guitars.
