JCM800 2204 50W Head 1990 Item Description
This is a 1990 Marshall JCM800 2204, a 50-watt head that just screams Rock and Roll. The single-channel design of the 800 lets you ride your guitars volume knob to roll back and clean up, or dig in with your picking hand to really hear the attack. The 800 is one of our favorite amps. This amp has been tweaked and modded over the years, where some internal components have been changed. The overall sound of the amp right now has a bit more gain and upfront tightness than other 800s which often need a bit of a boost in pedal-form! The pots, jacks and tube sockets have all been recently cleaned and serviced, with a fresh set of Tesla EL34s installed! The amp is in very good condition, the pre-amp knob is slightly bent - however still works as it should.
